The Glenferrie Festival: 27 March 2022

The Glenferrie Festival, organised by the Glenferrie Traders Association (GTA), is back in 2022 after last year’s cancellation due to the risks and regulations surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2022 festival was originally scheduled for 6 March, but has been postponed to Sunday 27 March, 11am - 5pm.

The Glenferrie Festival typically includes food, drink, retail and service stalls hosted by Glenferrie Hawthorn traders and some non-local traders, as well as community group stalls, street performers, live music, and amusement rides. The GTA invites everyone to “come and enjoy a great day with great food along with unique local products and a truly laid-back day with a great community feel”. The annual festival is funded through the Glenferrie Special Rate and Charge Scheme paid by rate-able properties in the Glenferrie precinct through their council rates, as well as a triennial ‘Vibrant Retail Precincts’ grant from the City of Boroondara.
